Description
1. Microsoft Outlook as front end
Microsoft Outlook can be used as an adequate front end. Tasks and work packages are synchronized with Outlook. Dynamics Project Management features are available online and offline.
2. Microsoft Project interface
The Microsoft Project interface allows you to import and export project plans from Microsoft Project to Dynamics Project Management. You can assign entire projects (with milestones) as well as specific phases, sub-projects or individual work packages. If needed, associated concrete activities will also be transferred.
Projects can be modified in Dynamics Project Management after the import. Project management can edit the project structure or assign upcoming tasks to the responsible persons, teams, or queues.
Exported projects or sub-projects can be handed over to partners for further information and processing. All Microsoft Project versions 2010 and up are supported.
3. Microsoft Excel interface
Of course, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Excel interface is also available in the 4th Module. Static export lists can be created within seconds. Filters are available for selecting specific data. Dynamic Excel sheets as well as Excel cubes, with online connection to the CRM data base, are accissable. Each file includes a data connection to the CRM system. At the touch of a button, Excel sheets can be updated with current information from the CRM databank.
4. Microsoft Word Interface
Standard integration between Microsoft CRM and Word makes it possible to create documents and texts directly from Dynamics Project Management in Word while having access to pre-assigned CRM content and data.
5. Mobile Project Management
You can use project management functionality of Dynamics Project Management on the go via smartphone, tablet, and ultrabook with Windows Mobile, Android, Blackberry and Apple iOS.
Users can enter project time via mobile phone on the move; project managers get the latest project information via Tablet PC and can react at any time.
You can use the time entry mobile feature in combination with the Sales, Service, and Marketing features; the Microsoft mobile client is available for this.
Alternatively, you can use any other Microsoft xRM Standard compatible clients.
