Enter the Skill in the Name field and select the relevant Skill Type from the option-set found in Type field. You can store as many Skills as you wish at this step. After creating a Skill, set the Status Reason to Available and click on Save & Close.

2. Defining a Skill Grade

Define the Skill Grades that you use to rate the Skills.

To create a new Skill Grade, navigate Main Menu > HR > Settings > Skill Grades and click on +NEW

List all the Skill Grades that are applicable to different Skills that you created in the previous step. Universally accepted “A1 to C2” grades for Languages and “Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, etc.,” for Professional Skills are good examples. The field Rating is the rating scale each grade carries. Enter a numerical value between 0 and 10 in this field. The bigger the number, the better the grade is.
